hey, my friend needs to know the rim size for his car, its a steelie with a hubcap and he wants to get rims, but doesn't wanna have to buy tires, are they 14's or 15's?

 

Look at the tire and see what size it is. On the side wall of the tire is will have a number like this ex: P215 60W R15

Now what ever the last number is will be the rim size. In this case the last number was 15 so the rim size would be 15". Now go to your car and and find out.

 

they actually put the rim size ON the tire? no way, hehe... its for my friend, the car is not here, its at his house, and i didn't wanna have to try and have him go out and read the numbers, thought this would be quicker, and it was , thanks...

 

Ummm...if the tire was not the same size as the rim...it would not fit. Thus a 15" rim would only work on a tire ment for a 15" rim
