uh...why not jus lowering springs??

after i did some research i realized most people has AGX KYB struts + H&R springs... why not jus get a set of lowerin springs like maxspeed or eibach, apply a compressor over the stock springs and put the new springs over the stock struts?

well... the main concern is probably the ride quality, but for jus for daily drivin and showing off do u guys think a set of lowerin springs + compressor would do it?

I did just h&r a couple of months ago. I always wanted to do em together, but I figured I could never drop that much money at once. I finally did the springs. still rides fine. sure it'll be better with agx but it's fine for now. will worry about it later. I haven't driven hard lately because I was on probation for a ticket, so that may help them last longer.

Putting lowering springs on stock struts will just wear out more quickly. Most of us don't want to have to do the job all over again so we just do it right the first time.

Before ppl start blazing you to start searching, the answer is that the stock struts are not designed for the higher spring rates of the new springs you're putting in, wearing them down more rapidly.
