$15.00 intake mod?

I remember a while back, there was a DIY to make a piece that would replace the accordian part for the intake, using a rubber piece that is used as piping in bathrooms or something like that, then using a cone filter...basically, an HAI. If you know what I'm talking about, could you post a link...I would greatly appreciate it.

Do you realize How much MUCH better your max would look, WITHOUT the black headlight covers? Im not hating, just think it would look a lot better.

poor mans supercharger? thats easy, just put a leaf blower motor in the intake tube, and wire it up to a switch in cabin! about 50 bucks for that extra kick at any rpm...

Yes I do, they haven't been on the Max in 6 months, and they go on when I make Long Distance Highway Trips, or for photoshoots

This qualifies as one of the most bizzare yet creative things I have seen on a car. Any idea on who did it to what? Good for them for trying something new. Maybe it works. A little.
