2002 SE Exhaust Upgrade...

Alright, here's my question...GReddy evo2 catback looks like a good exhaust system for our car...My problem is this...As we all know Nissan upgraded to the 255hp engine in 2002...Most of the exhaust systems out there say 99+, however on all the manufacturors sites they say 99-2001...This makes me think that the exhaust system is obviously compatible ONLY with the 1999-2001 models...Has anyone installed an exhaust system on a 2002 Maxima?, and has anyone installed a GReddy catback on a 2002 Maxima? (Any modifications needed to fit it, or is it a direct bolt on)...Thanks.

If you go to custommaxima.com, you can choose your vehicle year and then start from there. The price might be more expensive than other online stores, but some people say it's justified by their quality of service. I might be wrong because I have never dealed business with them. Good luck.

The exhaust is almost identical, the only thing I think changed is where the rear section seperates. But if you're just buying a cat-back, it will bolt to the 2k2 cat. I put a gutted 2k cat on mine and it bolted right up.

The Greddy Evo 2 will work for the 2k2. You are probably just bolting from the rear of the cat anyway right?
