clutch pedal sticking ?

i have a 97 5-speed and the other night when it was extremly cold out like 2 below i nioticed my clutch was acting funny. the pedal would return slowly compared to usual that went away when it warmed up but now the pedal will stick to the floor for a second and then pop all the way up only when pressed all the way down. My question is why is it doing this and how to fix it. Also i bled the system a month ago when i replaced the clutch and has worked fine untill 2 nights ago.

usually with the clutch being stuck, it generally mean you have air in your clutch system. you might want to try bleeding the clutch again. i believe there are 2 spots where the clutch can be bleed. trying bleeding both places. see site:

under transmission for bleeding the upper and lower bleeder...good luck.

also, check your brake/clutch fluid to see what level it is at.

Hopefully its just the hydraulics. I had my clutch installed recently and it is out of alignment so i have to take it back. That too will give you a bad pedal feel.
