Need help on a purchase of a used intake.

Thinking of purchasing a used Stillen intake for my 2000 Maxima. It has about 20-25k miles on it. Is it worth it to buy it used? Can the filter be cleaned(or oiled) to like new condition? Looking to get the most for my money but don't want to purchase the same thing twice. Also local rice shop said they could give me a short pipe intake with a K&N filter for $140. Is this going to be similar to the stillen intake? I've noticed intakes on Ebay for about $65-70. Which sounds to be my most logical choice? Thanks for any help.

Stillen intake alone does not include the short pipe, just a velocity stack that hooks up to the throttle body and the filter.

I would go with the short pipe instead of the stillen setup. Will give you more hp overall.

Get the Mid-pipe/apexi set-up. This will give you very nice gains and a growl others will envy
