How do I locate a new plastic A-pillar cover?

I'm parting out the max, and part of this included removing my gauge pod from the maxima's A-pillar. I had a new windshield installed at the beginning of last summer and didn't realize until now that the adhesive that they used to seal the windshield had virtually glued the plastic A-pillar cover with the guage pod on it to the car!!!

To make a long story short I had to break the plastic to remove it. Thus I need a new one to sell the car. Anyone have any Idea where I could get one of these??

hmm... well the obvious would be junkyard...

When you broke off the pillar, did a part of it still remain? like, since you said it's stuck there w/ the glue, perhaps that peice still remained there when it broke off. That might get in the way when u wanna replace it.

Call Coz @ Ultimate Z (630) 837-0700

Their website appears that they are just Z cars now but Coz still does Maxima parts. As long as it's not an accessory, you'll get 25% off if you mention the org...or at least that how it used to be. They are also in Illinois so you'll get it fast.

On another note, are you going to be selling your gauges? Most notably the FP gauge?

I know the obvious would be a junkyard....but almost no junkyards even have 4th gen maximas.

I got all the plastic off...I had to used a razor blade...but I got it all.

Plastic?! I thought everyone had fuzzy pillars. lol, I kill me.

Anyway, why would you need a new pillar if you are parting out the car? That makes no sense.

I'm not parting out the entire car, just taking the aftermarket parts off and returning it to stock so I can sell it. The car is in much too good a condition to part out...

I got you. To me 'parting out' means selling the whole car as parts, not just the aftermarket parts. So why are you selling Bri?

Why don't you just order the piece from your local dealer?

Hey Brian, kinda off topic, but where did you replace your winshield, and how much did it cost to replace, cuz my winshield has small rock chips all over it.
