so i painted the headlights......

well i got a bug up my but saturday and took my headlights out and painted them. I decided to use gloss black instead of flat... Basicly every thing went perfect till the very end when i was putting the driver side back together, the lens now has a white bubble in it where it melted a lil thank goodness its hardly notice able, but im still gonna try and see if i can order just the lens for the housing.

BTW ill post pics as soon as a friend of mine emails them to me.

Post the price for the new lens, and find out how much it will be for 02 lenses. I want to know, just in case I crack mine open to swap the orange lense out and break the housing.

Good job. Has anyone tried to paint them the body color? I have Gray Luster and I think that would look nice.

they dont touch the fender when they are installed back on the car. There is like a 1/4" gap

Do you have to use any additional silicone sealent when you put the headlights back together? I think I'm going to try this this weekend. Saturday of course. Got to keep Sunday open to watch the Raiders "O" take it to the Bucs "D". It should be a great game.

actually i removed alot to put it back together. My houseings had IMO way way to much sealant on them, especially in the corner near the blinker housings.

I did not need any extra sealant either...

Hey Igor, look at it this way, if they fit perfectly when you took them out, they should fit perfectly when you put them back in. You did not exterior changing...
