I have a simple question. When my buddies car is cold and he turns up the heat there is a momentary low pitched growling sound for a little while, i have no idea what it is where it's coming from. Does any one know this one?

 

...but, I'm not the one that ChinkyBoy13 is referring to..

Basically, whenever I turn on the heater there is a momentary
grumble coming from the fan that goes away about 3 seconds after
it starts...

I'm gonna try and search now, but, how does one search for "grumble"
or "rumble"
