im lookin to make small mods right now until i graduate college and am able to upgrade all components that are expensive. what are the most effective yet cheap mods i can do now til i make 5x the money i make now?

At your next dentist visit. Steal bottle of nitrous oxide. Make sure you steal the hoses too. Now, drill a hole in the top portion of your stock airbox. Now, run the nitrous hose from the airbox to the passenger seat. When you go WOT turn the nitrous bottle on.

Instant HP/Torque. And it's free!

If you don't like that option. Intake and Y-pipe. But thats still a few hundred.

 

You can make your own intake, whether out of your stock air box, or a hubrid style. This sight will tell you different things you can do, from building your own midpipe to working with stock parts.

If you want the midpipe with open filter, you can attach a filter to it without having to buy a MAF adapter.
