Gas Smell In The Vg

EVERYTIME I GET OUT OF MY CAR I HAVE A MODERATELY STRONG GAS SMELL , ITS NOT OVERWHELMING BUT I CAN DEFINITELY SMELL IT, ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THAT COULD BE?

I had this problem inside of the car like it was coming from the engine bay. It goes and comes so I haven't worried about it too much.
