Painting Brake Calipers

My Mille Evo5's will be here monday. I am going to paint my brake calipers this weekend. What kind of paint are you supposed to use? Where is the best place to get it? and What color do you recommend for a 02 white maxima?

I'm bought the folia tec brake caliper paint "system". Comes with brake cleaner, two part brush on paint and instructions. Most people I think just use high temperature paint. I choose red as my color. Good luck and post some pics when you are finish!!!

I used plain ol' engine enamel paint after i sprayed the calipers with brake cleaner...worked like a charm. I used 3 coats with one can and its still looking good...check out my homepage for some pics...i also have Mille Miglia Evos!

I sprayed the cheap stuff in an empty paint can and brushed it on. No overspray, very easy.

I read that you live in Phoenix...wassup? Southwest Autoworks has a kit for painting them if you want to go that way with like 6 diff. colors. If you've never been there we should meet up and head over.

that's the bumper guard...you'll need one if you live in a crowded metropolitan areas like New York city..

any high temperature paint should suffice. you can get these at your local pepboys or kragen.

It's not his store. It's at 32nd St and T-Bird. And I think it's like $35.
