Dealer Damage????
Dealer Damage????
I just got back from getting an oil change on my 2k3 Maxima SE and after an hour and a half of waiting they tell me that they bent my right splash shield bringing my car down from the lift and had to replace it. Can anyone tell me what the splash shield is and if I should contact a manager of the dealership.

I wouldn't make a big deal out of it, but if you feel you must call them, just act as if you simply wanted to notify the manager of the incident. Since they fixed it, there is not much other than an apology they need to do for you.

Do you have 'mud flaps' on the car? Maybe they are referring to one of those?

No they didn't show me anything and since I was sitting there for 1.5 hours I just wanted to get out of there......I also thought they could be talking about the splash guards but those are just plastic and in this cold would just crack....I do have a part #: It is 64838-40U00
