wiper arm problems

i did a search but nothing came up on this one, must be one of those freak problems.

about last week my wipers started to make an anoying screching sound when they were on. I figured it was the blades since they did a real bad job cleaning my windsheild.

last night i bought new blades and slaped them on . STILL had the noise. i lifted the blades off the window and turned on the wipers, the noise was still there so the blades have been officialy ruled out. The sound seems to be coming from where the arm meets the gear the motor.

stoped by a dealer today and he said "clean your car" "sounds like dirt in there or a rock". Well i presure washed the place i belive the problem is at and nothing happend, even got some lube in there, still nothing.

I'm setting up an appointment with the dealer to have it checked out but they only got a spot for me on tuesday.

What do you guys think is up? could this problem be the reason why i needed new blades on a 4 month old car ( but with 17,000m ( don't ask))

Well, that's only 140 miles every single day since you've gotten it.

At this rate, you'll break 100,000 milies in two more years!

The wipers are just plain tired.
