so i have my engine idling inthe drive way, and i rev it a bit to like 2k, and i hear like this almost water noise, like theres water flowing through my air vents or something, but no water or anything is coming out, it sounds like its coming from inside the engine. so i open up the hood and i can slightly hear it from in the engine, but from there it sounds like minor chirping, like birds rustling around in there. hella wierd. got any suggestoins, this probably isnt anything major right?

Holy ****

you have that same weird noise too!! I have a 2nd gen 88 max and when I cran kit up in the morning and rev it I hear that same exact noise, I thought it was only me. It sounds like water is running through my dash too, I thought maybe it was just me but Ive heard it recently too. What could this be. Obviously its nothing bad, I dont think, because there hasnt been any signs of anything bad.

Re: Holy ****

It just air on your coolant lines...You can open them up and It helps, otherwise it's nothing to worry about. Both of my maximas did it...now just one (because the other's totaled).

yeah don't worry about it unless it ALWAYS does that...if it goes away after a few minutes, then it's fine, but continuously? you're got problems then.
