i think i'm going to take the plunge of boosting.
i have a 2k2 auto with 8000 miles on it, since i live in nj, i gave level 10 a call this am. and inquire about pts hydrosystem, torque converter and shift tronic. from what they told me those previous mods that i mention could hold a turbo upto 500whp with auto tran...if my tranny dies in the process they could install the pts kit. i'm kinda new on boosting so i need all the help that you guys could give along the way of this big project
i also saw the thread in (gen forum) busted tranny in the month of jan. if i do all this mods will my tranny would hold? i wanna set the car just for street use and i don't wanna be a statistics on that thread

try it and test it out to see if its gonna hold. theres not a lotta history with turbo maximas.. most people who have em are still guniea pigs

 

but seems to be almost 2k just for the transmission upgrade is kinda high, not to mention the prize of the turbo kit...i still have to meet this guy from level 10 and talk all the details

 

yeah..i think something up to 5psi on my 2k auto with vb mod and tranny cooler should be ok.. but umm...first i have to invest for the turbo lol
