i know i read people commenting on this before here, and that they took it out, and i think i remeber them saying that it didnt make a difference if you took it out. im thinkin of mountin my sub box right where that thing is, so i need it out of the way. just to refresh, is it ok to remove it?

 

as long as you're planning on installing a sub box back there, I wouldn't worry about it. mine's been gone for 2 years with no problems. jsut be sure to seal off the 4 bolts holes so no water can get in.

 

Can somebody tell me where in the trunk this is and what it's supposed to do?

 

if u look in the trunk its that lil hump in the middle towards the back of the trunk

Once you find it, you'll see how to remove it. If you still can't figure it out, you probably shouldn't be given the privelidge of owning tools.

 

yeah it's a pointeless item, I removed the on in me 92 max and it hasn't given me any problems (yet).

 

What if your max didn't come with a balancer thing in the trunk?? My Pearl White 90 SE doesn't have it, but my SkyBlue 90 SE did. Kinda weird..

 

Whoa...now THAT is weird...maybe the person that had it before already took it out?
