Another clutch question

Before my car went into its comma, I was driving and the car drove fine, then the car just cut off , I would periodically try to start it without success and it's been sitting sence then. It's been about 2 years now and I finally got it to start. Well the things that worked before for some reason dont work now. For one thing, When I press my clutch in I get nothing. It just goes in without any effort. Before the car died I had no Clutch problems , but now that it sat for so long I have no pressure. What could this be?

Plenty of fluid, In fact I changed it. I also checked the lines and they arent leaking and are free. which way does the lever on the slave cylinder go when you press in the clutch left or right?

Looking from the front of the car, to the driver's side. Maybe the m/s is bad now. Try pumping it repeatedly and see what happens

I did that to. I pumped slow and fast, I removed the lines and pumped , I removed the slave cylinder and pumped and I dont have any leaks. I topped off my clutch fluid then pumped somemore. I dont get it, before it shut off I had no clutch problems, so it's hard for me to think its enternal

Re: blood

Well open the bleeder valve on the slave and see if you can get the fluid to flow out when you push the pedal down.

Sounds like a plan, Ill try tomorrow before I go to work. Ill have to get one of those Nobody helpin you bleeders, Because it aint nobody helpin me do it. What if air comes out, would this build up pressure in the peddle??

If nothing comes out and you have fluid in the resovior(sp?), that means your master cylinder is probably dead or needs to be primed

What I did was remove the line from the master cylinder and pressed the peddle. When I did this the fluid came out with each press.

Yeah your probably rite. I didnt see if fluid would come from it, What I did was press the slave thing and I saw the fluid in the resovuor(sp?) rise. But didnt see if fluid would come from the bleed valve its self. Ill try it, By the way. If I step on the peddle which direction does the lever move on the slave cylinder?
