I went to the tint guy and he said for 5 percent tint on sides, 20 percent rear window, and a 5 percent windshiled eyebrow it would be 180. Good deal?

Yep... pretty good...

Make sure the tint they use is metallic, the cheap dyed ones will bleach out over time.

 

i paid 200 for 5 on back sides, triangles, and back

 

Please check with your state laws on tinting(yes most states have tint laws) and find out how dark you can go with staying legal. I hate when people get tint and then get a ticket for having illegal tint and then b!tch and moan saying "I got a ticket for my tint" .


by the way that is a good price if it is lifetime garuntee

 

I don't know about you guys, but here in Florida, a sedan metallic tint job shouldn't run more than $120, less for the coupes. Maybe because it is almost viewed as a necessity here. So, hey, spend a few hundred on a trip to Florida to save $60-80 on your tint. Sounds logical, lol.

 

yeah in NY I paid $150 and thats kinda pricey but I got the back done in one piece with a life-time warrenty on the whole job, and IMO different percent tints look stupid, just do 20% all around.

 

yep - i got mine 5% all around for $140 w/ lifetime guaruntee. in Georgia, yes it's illegal, but most cops dont give a rats as$

 

Ive got 15% all around (it makes it look darker when you've got a black interior)





also the guy who posted this your pricing isnt too bad because your getting the windshield top done too. For where I live thats still kinda expensive but Im not sure where you live, I'm assuming your also getting a garrantee

 

I live in Maryland, the local law says darkest i can go is 35%. So i wont *itch and moan if i get a ticket. Is being done by a guy from 3M that teaches seminars on how to tint.

 

here in iowa i could paint the back 5 windows black if i wanted to but the windshield i cant go below the as1 line and front sides cant have darker than 75%

 

damn to me thats alot of green but down here in miami, fl. i only paid $80 for all my windows.

thats cheap *** hell, i live in Ct and i got it for 212 5% all around and a 6 inch strip on the front and a 1 peice in the back with a life time warenty... i wish i lived in fl
