This is a tough question!

Dudes,

We all know that the 4Gen is the A32 chassis. Here in Japan (yes I'm here now) the A32 is known as the Cefiro (basically an I30). Here in Japan the A32 is FWD just like in the states. The A31 (earlier Cefiro) is not the 3Gen Max. The A31 is just another 4dr sedan. Please notice that Nissan maintained the same frame numbers this is akin to the S13/S14/S15 thing. The old A31 had several different drivetrains, of note are the 4WD and the RWD ones.
Also the A31 is very popular out here for drifting.

Question: How do I go about finding out if the A31 drivetrain can fit on the A32 chassis? I am clueless. I have been asking around, but my Japanese is still weak.

I appreicate any and all help. Thanks in advance

SchoLarMax??

Read lots of your postings in the past at the Yahoo Club.

Based on what I have known, the A31 & A32 are two completely different cars. Doesn't the A31 come with only a 2.0 engine? I would look at the Y32/Y33 if I want a RWD.t sedan.

Good luck.
