Weather's effect on drag racing...??

anyone know how and why the weather effects a car at the track? i know hot weather causes the car to run a little bit slower and a high barometric pressure helps and all but can anyone go a little more in depth on it or know of a sight that might help explain it a little better??

This is typical. Its not great, but when you are bracket racing anything that can help you predict is beneficial.

Temp goes up 3 degrees, ET slows .01 seconds
Barometer goes down .01-.02, ET slows .01 seconds
Humidity goes up 5%, ET slows .01 seconds

I'm a bracket racing fanatic and that site is some of the best reading I have ever come across. Thanks.

Go here and plug in the numbers. You will see exactly what you would have ran under different weather conditions. I have been using this site for two years now and I know what my Camaro will run before I even get to the track.
