Would there be any problems using an Aasco flywheel and ASP UDP.

Hi Guys,

As some of you guys know, I ordered an AASCO flywheel and a ACT clutch kit. Now I heard most likely I shouldn't have a problem using the flywheel and pulley together. Just want to make sure because my friend has a BMW and he has a pulley, but if he decides that he wants a flywheel then they told him he can't use the pulley at the same time with the flywheel. I just want your opinions on this.

Thanks,
Diego

how do you figure, "fully modded"; The way i see it, theres always something that you can "mod"..

Like what? The only things available to me still as a performance mod is flywheel, clutch and the ECU (it will be in by june). I consider this fully modded performance wise.

By June or July I will also be getting the SFC's (all the stages) from Warpspeedperformance to finish off my suspension....fully modded suspension.

that's about it pretty much

We mean fully modded as having bought everything performance wise there is to buy for the car (not including full on custom work). At some point you run out of available products. After ECU I'll reach that point.

Although I still want to have a big brake upgrade. Down the line I'll do that, but in the meantime my brake 'upgrade' works fine.

i thought you meant the WHOLE car fully modded not just performance/suspension

um.. only thing thats "fully modded" in mine is the stereo but thats done; this summer its new tires for the 99 rims and probably suspension. Anything further pends on $

in hindsight, i cant really justify myself putting alot of $ into it. Its nearly at 120k and insurance is murdering me. Id also not like to blow all of my $ away on mods and have none left for repairs/maitnence.. ha and then theres the transmission..

I know my engine bay needs cleaning, I'm planning on doing it tomorrow morning. You need to replace your muffler and get the noise from under the hood out. I also need tires.

yea i know i break your ***** about the dirty engine but its only in fun; im gonna clean mine again in the summer

as far as the muffler i might as well go with a full catback but greddy is too $$ for me at this time.. y pipe is fairly new (replaced right when i bought the car - yea its a OEM) but cat and back is all original

that noise is -ing me off, its getting worse... but ive pinpointed it coming from down in the pulleys area. Once we get a decently warm weekend around here im gonna get under there and try to troubleshoot it some more

tires i have yet to see what id want.. ???/??/16 it would be an all season tire, i cant afford nor see a purpose for Z rated

you should get an ASP UDP, when looking for the noise, maybe the pulley is tired and wants to go out and get replaced...lol. Hey you never know. Tire size with our rims I suggest 215/55 16 because 225/55 is rubbing on the inside. Oh yeah if you can get Bridgestone Potenza RE950's, these are the best tires out there.
