Any downside to mounting your amp under your seat?
I am thinking of going with a 5 channel amp and mounting it under the pass seat, that was it isnt taking up room in the trunk and less of a easy target for theives to take.

well I'm not an expert on the topic but if you run it hard it might get a little toasty under there. but then again it might not, I wouldn't run the heat on the feat setting for too long.

I use to have an Orion 200.4 and an MTX...6500D i think...i got the 8100 now...and a cap...under my 2 front seats in my 94...talk a bout a PAIN IN THE AS$...always gets kicked, or in the winter snow got under there and it got messy and it was just a real inconvience...I ended up making a board and sticking it on my back seat...something maybe you can consider ?
