for those who had their auto or manual transmission rebuild, how much did it cost and how long did it last?

comparing a manual to auto tranny rebuild is like apples to oranges....pretty much same principle, but different procedures and prices. my auto tranny rebuild cost me $2000 and I got a 3 year warranty and a cooler, that was ~4 years ago. theres not telling how long a rebuild will last its all dependent on your driving style....
