that's a lot, if you live around Queens NY I have a friend who owns a shop and can do the labor for 300.00 and you just buy the parts www.foreignautoparts.cc or you can have him order the parts and the price still wont be more than $400.00

Labor $300.00
Parts $ 23.00 for the timing belt
$ 35.00 for the water pump
$ 10.00 shipping
Total $368.00 for the whole Job.

Try a college

If you don't mind some green grease monkey's try a community college that has an auto shop class. I had my water pump plus all of my accesory belts replaced and it cost something like 150 bucks.

You can be like me and have someone do it at my highschool for free and only pay for the pump itself and what I thought is that he didn't replace any of the belts. A $40 water pump job HEHE. Only thing is the guy that did it didn't have the extra 2 seconds to tighten the bolt on the pulley tensioner so I was going about 80 and the thing flew off on the free way and I lost power steering and my temp just flew up. Not so good, but another $50 for a tensioner pulley and it was back to new. I guess I could take $90 (should be $40) water pump job over $600.
