97 GLE or 98 SE

I am a couple of days away from getting my first Maxima...but I'm undecided on which 2 get...i do not really want a GXE simply because of the speed limiter...

Help me make up my mind...

Limiter is fairly easily removed... if you don't have much money, get a GXE with less miles. I think trading off features for reliability is a good bet when you've got < ~$8,000. Otherwise, you can find an SE with the feature packages you need without the overhead of a GLE. 5-Speed too?
