Does anyone have this problem?

I got a 97 max and sometimes it takes awhile to strart up, and sometimes it satrts up right away. Also my engine idles at like 500. Is that low??

check your starter, and the normal idle is 750 rpms at normal conditions. in cold start is 1200rpms

Hold your key in the ACC position until the startup ding has ended. 5 times I think it is. THEN start your engine. You will notice it will start up better like that every time your do it. By doing this, you are giving the fuel pump time to pressurize the line.

Your idle should be around 700-800 warm. Clean your throtle body there are buildups of gunk in there. Go to www.maximadriver.com in the How To section.
Easy weekend mechanic task. Takes about 15 min.
