Windshield Washer Bottle / Way to small: Any Retrofits? /91 SE

The winshield washer resevoir doesnt hold enough in my 91 SE. One or two squirts and its empty.

Does anyone make a larger unit or do any other models have a large capacity tank that I can fit in there. There isnt much room either.

Any thoughts folks??

Nope, no leak

No leak , its that i cant get used to the small capacity - it must be under 1 liter.

My Porsche holds over a gallon, the benz is large too. I NY during the winter to need alot with all of the slush & road grime flying around.

the tank holds about a gallon of washer fluid.
if you need more than that you might want to use better wipers because for me one spray two wipes and it's clear. yeah this is in NY slush and etc too.

you sure u don't have a leak somewhere in the line..(ie 1/2 goes on the ground 1/2 goes to your windshield)

Patrick,

It's my thought that you're mistaking the reservoir filler tube as the actual reservoir itself. Reason being, there's no way on God's green earth that one or two squirts will empty out that bottle! I don't care HOW you look at it, it's physically impossible unless you've got a serious leak (which you say you don't). It takes practically a whole gallon of fluid to fill it.

If you're only getting a couple of squirts out, you might want to check your lines coming out from the nozzles for obstructions or possibly your washer pump for any faults there. And check your nozzles, also.

Chilton's and Haynes manuals (and FSM's too) will be your friend in this endeavor.

Otherwise, move the y-bong away from the engine!
(btw - I was just kidding about the y-bong thing....)
