Replaced injectors today...well attempted to...troubleshooting time...
Replaced injectors today...well attempted to...troubleshooting time...
Got everything back together and made the attempt to fire her up. Nothing. Just the old fast rat-tat-tat-tat. The ticks are getting slower apart each time I try to fire her up. I have somewhere to go tonight but in the AM i will be double checking resistance again and possibly might have to tear this beyoch down again unless someone has a good idea.
Fire away w/ suggestions or help please...

Re: Replaced injectors today...well attempted to...troubleshooting time...
same EXACT thing happen when I did my injectors...turns out the starter was gone as well. I replaced the starter and it started right up, except than the car idled like crap and spewed gas from the muffler(crcked injector O-rings
)
tap on the stater with a wrench a few times and see what happens.

is that the exhaust click/tick you're talking about? swafford98 told me what it was, but i forgot the part it's called. he said a tune up would reduce that noise...

b) if you reread the original post the car wouldn't even fire so there wouldn't be any exhaust noise
c) i think if i'm replacing injectors i think i know if i need a tuneup or not...

god man, why the hell can't you actually post the solution?
Solution for not starting...battery was at 8 volts. Recharged the battery and it fired up eventhough it wasn't pretty. For those doing it just be sure to check the resistance on all injectors before putting everything back together. (which i did and everything was fine. Vaccum leaks are a mess to track so make sure all of your lines are reinstalled properly and secure.
I didn't post an answer because there really isn't wasn't an answer. When doing sh*t like this you end up trying so many things you never know what the hell the answer was....
blah blah blah
