Cruise Control doesn't work after dealer..

A long while back...I believe over a month ago, I got my new alternator installed by the dealer. When I drove to Tahoe last week I tried for the first time to use my cruise control and the light in the switch turns on but it just wont go...it used to work..what could have happened? I think its too late to ask them to fix it and Im afraid theyll screw something else up as I dont trust them! Anyone?

I had the exact same problem as you. I took to the dealer, and they replaced the vaccuum actuator, and a realy.

no harm in trying...
they most likely messed it up so call and let them know and hopefully they'll be cool about it. they don't want people complaining of bad service so give it a shot. g'luck!
