Has anyone has to repair worn front suspension??

Has anyone had to repair/replace any front suspension parts on cars with 100,000 miles or less? Or even higher mileage?

I ask because many of us are experiencing a vibration at around 70-80 mph. New tires, re-balancing,and alignment do not fix the vibration.

Maybe the 4th gen has a suspension part that wears out faster than it should?

Try wheel bearings...they aren't too expensive and do wear. You'll usually hear a wobbling droning sound at 30MPH+ and it gets really bad at 70MPH.

3 axles in 3 months - 70k on the car.

Caused most likely by Sprint Springs, bad roads, and too much boosting.

What should that cost?

What is a reasonable price to pay for parts at a shop to get the bearings in the front wheels fixed? About how long would the labor be?

I remember my 89 max needed front left bearings replaced and it was pretty high, but I dont recall exactly how much.

I paid ~$130 prts and lbr. But I have a brand new front bearingset(one wheel), if you're interested, pm or email me.

All the suspension parts are very expensive, don't let the stealership work on that because labor is so expensive too. Last time my infiniti visited the dealer, they replaced the front strut mounts, strut boots, strut bearings, inner tie rod ends (both sides), and the bill was $1,203.00 so be aware ! But I think the dealer is expensive but also is a peace of mind, 12-month or 12,000 mile warranty on parts and labor doesn't sound BAD !
Good Luck !
