I know this has been brought up before...but I have a hopefully different question.

Previous posts said you could buy the clear outer tails and paint them red to match the inner lights. While searching NOPI's website I found the following description and part number:

846+0400 $153.85 APC - Tail Light Lens - CLEAR/RED Outer Lens Only 2 pcs

I found this along w/ a clear only listing. Does anyone know if this CLEAR/RED kit is a set of lights with the brake light part already red, and only set of clear turn signal lights? If so, this would seme much easier than buying the clear only and painting them.

Any ideas?

That's what it's supposed to be but

they are not in stock or not made yet for that matter. You can always try.

They definently make the clear and red already painted. I've seen several sets sell on ebay for around 150. I personally like the 2 outer pieces clear and the inner pieces red and clear.

I guess the red / clear ones would look better than making clear ones that way. But if you are smart, then don't buy from NOPI... check out this email I got from them:
