Reset air bag, light went off . Charged Battery , (jumped) drove around Battery still won't start car. Once started car is fine but battery won't recharge, disconnected battery while car is running (negative) car keeps running that rules out alternator?, Is it possiblre battery is shot and won't recharge or cable from alternator to battery is bad! I need advice B4 I get mechanic screw around.

 

How old is your battery?

From what you've tested, it appears your alternator is working. If your battery is more then 4 yrs old, replace it.

 

The battery is only 6 months old thoughits been cold in the north east and my terminals were slipping alot in the early winter when I cleaned terminal and battery heads
