how to wire LED lights to my alarm

how to wire LED lights to my alarm

my mom bought me a set of LED light. the one that plugs into the cigarette ligher to light up the interior of your car.

i wonder if anyone here know how to wire it to the stock alarm and it'll flash when i arm the alarm just like the little red LED behind the steering wheel.

I don't know if you can, bro. The stock alarm systems L.E.D. has a very small amount of voltage going through it at a oscillating rate, hence the blinking effect it goes through. Then if the alarm is a factory alarm, then it will go off after a few seconds, arming the entire car. The ones you mentioned are for 12 volts dc current. There wouldn't be enough volts to operate the LED set.

how about if i tapped it to the alarm, not the wire to the factory LED.
there should be 12 volt power to the factory alarm right?
