TSB for Rear Bumper Sctatches
Has anyone replaced the retaining clips to stop the rear bumper scratches as mentioned in the TSB below. If you had the TSB performed were you satisfied with the results. Thanks for your help.

No problems
I had the trunk clips installed about 2-3 months now and no problems. My dealership did a good job; no alignment/gap problems (some users on this site has indicated this), no leak/seal problems (I use a powerwash on my car and I spray directly into the cracks to get the soap out), and no more scratches to the trunk.
There's a Black Maxima where I work and the center bumper lip was orange (from rust). So definitely worth doing. As for the gap/misalignment problem other users have indicated, it'll probably depend on your dealership and how careful they treat the car. Hope this helps.

I had the clips done about 2 months ago. No further scratching, but dealer did not touch up the old scratches which I plan to do myself. No leaks. Allignment is not perfect, but acceptable (between rear fender and bumper). I wish I had stood over the tech and watched, but I don't think they would have let me do that anyway. Trunk allignment is fine.
When I first mentioned the scratches to the dealer a year ago I was told that the bumper is not metal and would never rust. I was never offered the clips----I tld them of the TBS
