Question about McGard Spline Drive kits????????

I plan on buying a set of wheel locks from McGard and I am curious about the Spline Drive lugs that they manufacture. Currently, I have a set of Gorilla tuner lugs. What are the advantages of buying the spline drive lugs in addition to the McGard tuner wheel locks?
Can the spline drivee lugs be removed with a regular deep socket. Are they significantly better than Gorilla lugs as far as 'seat' and durability?

Thanks

IMO the spline drives, i have them, are lighter a little cooler! Theyre a little more time consuming to remove as there are splines, and 1 Wheel lock. Unfortunately if a theif really wanted your wheels, and he had enough time he could probably figure out a way to get the spline drives off. The spline drives just make it more difficult for amature thieves.

Ok, thanks for the responses. Does anyone have information on durability of McGard vs. Gorilla?

ive taken mine on and off about 9 times...the color is holding up very well as are the splines. No problems now....and there isnt any worry that somethings gonna happen. Just torque to the correct specs.

I have spline drives as well. They are nice and have held up well so far. Use a torque wrench on them... don't ever let anyone use an impact gun..
