Dim 'Door Ajar' light?

I finally had the cluster replaced on my 2k3 SE TE today to fix the dim SES light problem. While I was waiting for 2 months for it to come in, the door ajar light (the red light that lights up when you have a door open) started doing the dim thing as well.

I figured it was the same problem as the SES light and that the cluster replacement would fix it but when I picked up the car tonight it was still on!

I will say that the cluster that they put in is MUCH brighter than the one that came from the factory though

I'm going to look at the door sensors this weekend, but I wanted to see if anyone else had this problem...or any ideas.

i have this problem as well, i also have replaced my door lights with LEDs which I think is what caused the problem. I am going to try and put a variable resistor in the circuit and see if I can't get it to go off. Did you ever fix yours?

same here, using led's in the doors so the "door ajar" light is always dim and always on
