Hard time blending body kit in with the rest of the car
Hard time blending body kit in with the rest of the car
I was wondering if it's normal to have your body kit outshine the rest of your max when you initally install the kit. Does it just take some time before it blends in. My artic pearl is full of dirt and tar that has built up over the year, so the kit kinda sticks out. Outshining the rest of the car. Nissan bumpers also fade over the year making it harder to match the rest of the car. My front and rear bumper is kinda yellow compared to the rest of the car. I guess I need to do a better job of scrubing.

Try using a clay bar on the body to get rid of the contaminates, then get some good wax...
Depends on if the clear is oxidized or of the paint under the clear has been affected.
The bodyshop should have color matched the car's current color. But if the clear needs help, then the new paint/clear will be alot glossier than the old paint.
Can't really tell unless you get the old clear buffed/waxed.

The paint has already faded a bit and had some oxidation, most likely the kit won't match you're paint, not unless you repaint the whole car with the kit.
