300zx fuel filter on maxima?

title basically says it all:

i saw a post before that said they are the almost the same in size but the 300zx is just longer. is there any difference (ie. better filtering) or is it all just a myth?

Bigger filter = longer service interval

No better in the quality of the filter

Its in the FAQ thread at the top of the 4th gen forum but not in the MAXFAQ's off the main page.

I can understand why you wouldn't find it. Being expected to look through 2 FAQ with no search capability is a PITA.

...a little knowledge is a dangerous thing...

Using that logic, you could also adversely affect your mixture with a different sized fuel tank, too.

Didn't feel like reading through everything but doesn't it also provide more fuel to the engine because of its bigger size?

Ugh...

The size of the fuel filter in NO way effects the amount of fuel delivered to the engine.

It is controled by the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, and injectors. The size of the filter only changes how long it will work effectivly.

Fuel filter has NOTHING to do with performance.
