have a fix for dash creak/rattle
I use to have a creak/rattle coming from the dash on the passanger side, it was constant, it creaked even on slightly rough roads.
In the beginning I thought it was the glove box plastic rubbing against the dash but after tightening the screws that keet the blove box in place I decided that it wasn't it. Then I turned my attention to the pillars where the bose tweeters are, I noticed that if you press them they are pretty loose, so I looked at the area where the dash, pillar and windshield meet (bottom right corner of the windshield) and noticed that the dash was also slightly mobite and I figured that on bumps the three would make contact and make the plastic/plastic creak.
The Solution:
Take one semi-hard and thin(0.25") rectangular eraser and jam it (using moderate force) in between the dash and the windshield, then slide it all the way to the right so it presses/pushes the pillar, make sure it's in the corner nice and snug - you're done. So now the eraser is pushing the pillar against the car frame (preventing pillar movement) and away from the dash (eliminating contact) and is also buffering the contact between the dash and the windshield.
Now my car is completely quiet except for the occasional rear deck rattle, headreast rattle, seat sqeak, and wind noises.

Cheap and it worked. the only other thing that rattles in the bose face plate. I'm thinking about sticking in some black paper towel in that little gap between that and the center dash vent to see if that will work.

What kind of paper towels did you use? Would it help to use the quicker-picker-upper? Also, could you recommend a paper towel design that would coordinate with the color of a frost leather interior... >

I use some sorta paper towel that my mom takes ( steals? lol ) from work. Its really thick and cloth like. I just cut a peice that will cover the length of hole and wide enough to fold it four or five times I used a flat-head screw driver and pushed it down until it doesn't go in anymore. I would say any color would work because when your siting down in the car, you can't notice it unless its reflected on the window ( but do it to the other side, and make sure its tightly in, so it will look like it came with the car ) or if your looking in from the outside.I guess you can use any kind of papper towel that's thick. Just make sure the papper towl is folded enough to push the A-pillar trim against the A-pillar so it won't rub the dash.
You can use color if you want but for Frost I would use white, grey, or black papper towels. For black, I would use white, red, blue, black, or grey papper towles. For blonde, I would use black, white, or ivory.
