Sprint or Maxspeed?

I am going to buy some new springs today, and, just wanted opinions on these two brands, I will be running them on stock struts for a while until I upgrade to better ones.

Thanks,

-J

I read a lot and decided to get maxspeeds because I saw a lot of people do exactly what you're doing ... and what I'm planning to do. Mine are in the trunk waiting to go on when the summer wheels go back on

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....maxspeed+miles

there are some people who've blown stock struts on maxspeeds, others have gone over 20k miles... I'm hoping to be one of the 20k miles people.

Sprints drop significantly lower and will kill your stock struts much faster. If you don't plan on upgrading struts soon, get Maxspeeds.

knowing nothing about lowering springs, can someone advise me as to which to get in so far as keeping ride smooth like stock, but getting a decent drop on stock 17's, (I live in NYC, aka POTHOLE-O-RAMA) that can either use stock struts or upgraded.

I appreciate the help guys!

since I don't have mine on yet I can only go by what's been written here, and the FAQ pretty much sums up what most people have written in posts...

MaxSpeed (front drop) 1.7, (rear drop) 1.4 (ride is near stock)
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....threadid=36867

and most posts have said you don't need to trade out the struts when using maxspeeds. If you want to ask PM/email in 2 weeks I'll have mine on and can let you know from a 'brand new user' standpoint.

I have H&R on my I35 and let me tell you. The ride seems better than the stock on my opinion. It gets rid of the floating feeling and seems to give the feeling of a heavier car. Keep in mind though, on bumps and cracks it will be rough compared to the stock.
I think that H&R needs to be little bit lower but it's not bad.

Probably a little late, but my Sprints are awesome. They have the drop all 5th gens need and I've been on stock struts for over 6 months. The ride is not bad at all.

Get SprinT... I have no problem with Ground Control Coilover on my stock struts.. It wont worn out right away.. I've had it for almost 5 months and the stock struts are still good.. Maxspeed are not lower enough for Maxima.. Get Sprint.. Do what you want to get and dont have to ask them about which one is the best for Maxima.. You decide how lower you want..

Sprint= 2 inches all around
MAxspeed= 1.5 inches all around..

I dont like Maxspeed beause it is not lower enough.. Oh well get what you make you happy!!!
