Car Wash: Engine Clean

Car Wash: Engine Clean

At the local car wash, you can trun the **** to a light spray and can supposidly use that to clean the engine bay.

Can that be harmfull?

They actually ahve a degreaser spray thing. No it's fine to use, I wouldn't use it excessively or too often. We don't have distributors and the alternator is way down below, you can blast away without any preparation.

Trun the know?

No, I don't think it's harmful. You don't what to use a high pressure spray on electrical connections, but the light spray is okay.

I never use that... i rather clean with wet cloth and some degreaser.. and it looks good...

Simple green...let is soak.... spray off lightly and wipe dry. Makes it look so nice and shiny

Just make sure the engine is cold/cool. Cold water and hot aluminum are a bad combination.
