Traction Control in The 1999 Maxima ??

Traction Control in The 1999 Maxima ??
I All!
I have a 1999 ES Maxima (Canadien Model) In 1999 they install the traction controle in the car... Basicly i know what does the traction control because I have the car... but My frend owen a Mercedes C230 Kompressor and the car is having the TC too.. but it seem that the TC in the mercedes do more thant the one in my car!
Do the Tc in the MAxima fonction only when the front whell slip (when you start in a "STOP") or the system is more perfectioned??
Do the TC do somthing when I take a cure in high speed (anti-skid)??
Because In the Mercedes of my friend (Rear-traction) the TC always controle the car. In the start, in the curve...!

Traction control only controls front wheel slip during accelleration.
It does not control the traction to the road.
Mercedes has vehicle stability control which is much different then traction control.

No, the 5th and 6th gen have the same setup as the 99 4th gens.
