My wheel feels like its loose when driving...
I've been feeling this "rattle" since I bought this car in July, but recently its been getting worse. Driving on flat road, I feel a rattle kinda like the driver side front wheel is shaking. I mainly feel it on the accelerator and lightly on the steering wheel. I've checked everything around the wheel (lugs, struts) an they seem fine and dont move, but I am really getting worried about it and its on my last nerve. I asked one mechanic and he said it may have something to do with the Axle. I guess it could be a number of things. I wanna hear what you guys think before I go have anyone take axles apart and such...

Check the lower control arm ball joint and the control arm bushings. If worn, it could allows the wheel to wobble a bit. Or your wheel bearings could be loose or worn out. Can you move the wheel when you grab/shake it?
The wheel didnt seem to move when I shook it when I had it on a lift. I will check the control arm and see if thosse bushings are worn or not. I wish the weather was better over here, I would be under the car all weekend fixing things!

good luck
If you have to ask, then you need to take it to a shop. otherwise, you'd know where to look.
i.e. it could be control arm bushings, tie rod ends, a bad strut, wheel bearing, ball joint, axle......

Im getting a pair of Yokohama ES100s installed tomorrow. The problem turned out to be the struts and strut mount on the driver side. I am buying a set of Tokico Blues on Saturday, and currently shopping for eibachs. So pretty soon it will be all gooood.
