How much to cut bump stop?

I'm putting on H&R springs this weekend and I need to know by how much should I cut the bump stop? The documentation that comes with the springs doesn't say anything for the Max, but I know most here have had them cut. Thanks.

Someone has got to remember how much they cut the bump stop. Could you please tell me what is a recommended cut for the H&R springs.

Why would you need to cut the bumpstops on H&R's? They don't give it that much of a drop. You only need to trim the bump stops if you bottom out easily. Otherwise leave it. I have less then a 2 finger gap in my fender and I didn't even trim my bumpstops.

I suggest you put them on and see how they look before you cut the bumpstops. That way you can determine which to cut more, how low to cut it...etc.

If your 5th gen bump stops are similar to the 4th gens. There are 3 rings, cut the lowest ring off or 1/3 of the bump stop. If your going with aftermarket struts, you can probably cut the bump stop in 1/2. If you compair the KYB bump stops to Nissan OEM equipment, they are about 1/2 the size.
