i heard of a product that is a tape material that can be wrapped around springs if evidence of sweaking is present. is this true, and, if so, what is a good brand to use? i have suspension technologies lowering springs with tokico struts. they work great, but make a creaking sound over bumps.

I never knew that they made such stuff? This is news to me. How bad is the squeaking? Because, if it's really not all that bad, I wouldn't screw with it? But, thats just my opinion.

sweaking is not so bad. it just comes up sometimes over speed breaks or holes. i'll ask this dude at the skating rink again what he meant. then i'll post it here to clear this up.

Have you checked your strut mounts? Sometimes you can get noise from there also? What about the strut bump stops? That can add more bumping and noise if bad? Check those out!!

When I changed my struts I didn't change my bump stops and I began to notice more noise and squeeks when driving!!!! This was when i first was starting out with the mechanics thing!!! LOL But that should help out on the smoothness of the ride, I didn't read to see what type of lowering springs you went with? As you already know some spings are noiser than others, like Tokico compared to intrax
