Any input on Cattman exhaust?

I have a 2000 Max SE and I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a Cattman full cat-back exhaust. Just wondering if anyone has any comments on the finished product. Good sound, nice growl but not too loud, any power increase?

Any comments or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

I have an '01 Max SE with the Cattman y-pipe and b-pipe. I had the cattman muffler on there for about 10 min. It was way too loud for my taste so I had the muffler shop attach the stock muffler to the cattman b-pipe. Now the car sounds pretty much stock untill you open it up, that's when it sings. I've heard people say that the cat-back is alot quieter without the y-pipe but if you're looking for more power/decent tone, I recommend the y-pipe, b-pipe, stock muffler combo. That's my $.02. Hope this helps.

I have the entire Cattman exhaust and I love it. It's much quieter than most of the exhausts out there. It is still loud, dont get me wrong and it does drone at cruising speeds. It sounds great, looks good, and was worth the money IMO.

I dont know why anyone would pay over $1000 for a cattman exhaust when they could get the same thing from Budget Exhaust for less the half the price. Can anyone explain this to me? I paid about $350 for my full exhaust from Budget. I cannot even imaging paying cattman a g for the same thing.

And some people can imagine paying that.
