Lower Control Arm Bushings

Does anyone know where I can purchase the two lower control arm bushings, Nissan states that they only have one, and to get the other, you would have to buy the whole control arm at $275.00 for each one. Have not had any luck finding them locally at auto parts stores, please help.

Thanks

Re: Lower Control Arm Bushings

I was given the same song and dance.."buy the entire arm". There's a cool place here in Los Angeles (Long Beach to be exact.) It cost me $18 out the door for a Lower left control arm bushing. I will find the number to get it to you as soon as I can.

I think www.nissan-parts-dealer.com sells OEM front control arms for $70 each. bushings are extra though...but still beats paying $200+

Keep in mind you'll need a big press in order to do it yourself. you also risk ruining the control arm in the press if you're not careful. I completely ruined one the other day in the press because it was slightly bent when I got it. while I was pressing the new bushing in, the control arm just buckled under the pressure. not fun to see something that big flying arcoss the garage.

Graduation is 100% more important Matt. I have lots to do besides the control arms, so no worries.

If you find a non Airbag wheel or shift **** with the leather in great condition, see if they will throw that in as well.
