2k2 6 speed loose shift knob piece?
2k2 6 speed loose shift **** piece?
For those of you that have 2k2 6 speeds, does the plastic center piece on your shift **** move around and creak? Mine is fairly loose and I can move it about 2 milimeters front to back. I am wondering if this is a common thing or if really needs to be fixed.

And I thought my 2k3 was the only one that had a removable thingamajig on the ****. These OE ***** really suck
. I wanted to swap it out, but I couldn't find any shops that carried Momo's (apparently, all the Honda-ricers want cheapo *****). But I found one that carried Razo *****, and they had one that looked similar to the Momo Cobra, made just as well, and fit better. But if you choose to go Razo, just make sure to get the short **** b/c they're Japanese made w/Japanese packaging and they've got several variations (weights and lengths) for the same design. With the short ones, you don't have to do any mods like to Momo. Just screw it on, and you're good to go! And they're only around $42.00

So, I took it back, and tried the short one, and "voila", perfection! BTW, they're both $42, so I really wanted the heavier one, but there was no way it was going to fit. And as to the guy that wanted to know if he can get it online, yes, I've seen it online. But I'm sorry I can't recall where. I'd suggest using a search engine. I hope this helps.

I actually like the textured leather look of the 340G model. I wonder if the 170G comes that way too.
How much of a difference does the two different weights have anyway?

Allow me to correct myself. Now that I've looked at the catalog, I realize mine is the RA97, not the RA98 (different p/n's for the Short and Long), but I don't see any difference between those and the RA95/96's. They may just be slight part number differences for different markets because mine came in all Japanese packaging with Japanese wording. I didn't try any of their other ***** out, but because they're all universal, they all do fit. The only thing is that the good ol' "ring" will get in the way of the longer ones. Which is too bad b/c the extra weight of the 340 gram **** sort of assists you with the notchiness of the 2k2-2k3 shifter. I don't have the info. on the place I bought my **** at right now, but let me look, and I'll get back to you guys.

That's the complete Razo line, so you can see everything they've got. And as for the difference between 340g and 170g, it's quite a bit. I was actually pretty surprised at the difference in feel. But it's a "no go" for those of us with the "RING"

And I'm sure there may be other places out there with better prices, just search by model number (example: RAZO RA97 or RA98 etc.)

Momo's are nice with the leather grip and all, but they can be a pain to install, and they cost more than twice what the Razo's cost. And I'm really happy with my Razo. I installed it right after I finished going all out ($$$) on my stereo system, and I think I may be enjoying this $42 mod just as much (well, maybe that's an exaggeration
