i just put in a new slave and master cylinder in the maxima and after quite a bit of bleeding i dont seem to be building up much pressure.

a friend of mine said that when you do both at the same time you're supposed to bleed the master then the slave and repeat that over and over and over. he said a nissan techie told him this. they also said that the whole process takes over an hour and you're supposed to keep bleeding even if nothing but fluid is coming out.

i just wanted anyone with experience to comment......

I had to replace one of the hoses running between the slave and master cylinder, so I got to bleed from a dry system. I started with the upper bleeder on the strut tower since most of the air will rise there. I then bled the lower bleeder near the slave cylinder, and bled the upper bleeder one more time. There's not a ton of fluid in our hydraulic system, so it shouldn't take too long or too much fluid.
